Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking a dynamic CNA for a per diem day shift on the Medical/Telemetry Unit in Sparks, NV. Provide safe, competent nursing assistant care and support the healthcare team in a patient-centered environment.

Requirements include Nevada CNA license and current BLS certification; experience in acute care is preferred. Per diem role with per shift scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada CNA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited CNA program preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing assistant care on the Medical/Telemetry Unit.
• Assist with patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs in care.
• Complete bedside shift reports and coordinate with supervising RN and care team.
