Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring a Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and support in a busy acute care setting. You will operate under the supervision of registered nursing staff and may perform sitter duties as needed.

Required qualifications include a MA CNA license or EMT license or current nursing student with clinical hours, HS diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification. 1–2 years of CNA experience is preferred, and staff may be floated to other units

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or enrolled in a co‑op program with HS completion within 6 months.
• Current MA Certified Nurse Assistant License, EMT License, or enrollment in a nursing program with clinical hours required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• 1–2 years CNA experience preferred.
• May be floated to other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain personal care to ensure physical comfort under supervision of registered nursing staff.
• Perform "Sitter" duties as assigned.
• Floated to areas as operationally needed.
