Alameda Health System is seeking an AHD Certified Nursing Assistant for internal, per diem coverage at Alameda, CA. Under close supervision, you will deliver routine patient care, assist with meals, mobility, and safety, and support clinicians in inpatient and outpatient settings.

• High School diploma or GED with additional training.
• Minimum of six months experience in a sub-acute or acute care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assists patients with meals, personal hygiene and incontinent care.
• Answers call lights promptly and attends to patient comfort and safety.
• Transports patients to other areas of the hospital in wheelchair or gurneys.
• Takes patients' vital signs and assists in examinations as directed.
• When assigned as a sitter, provides one-to-one observation for patient safety.
