Job summary

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of an RN. You will assist with basic activities of daily living, monitor patient conditions, and help maintain safety and comfort across age groups from adolescent to geriatric.

Qualifications include California CNA license, BLS, Fire & Safety Card, and ARC within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Nursing Assistant course preferred.
• Minimum six months recent experience in an acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under RN direction.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Observe and report patient needs and concerns to RN/LVN.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy and follow universal precautions.
• Assist with patient teaching and discharge planning as needed
