Job summary

The Residence at Melrose Station is hiring CNAs and CHHAs on a per diem basis for morning and evening shifts in Melrose, MA. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, with an emphasis on dignity, independence, and individualized resident care.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, medications (where allowed), and engaging residents in cognitive and social programs, while documenting care and communicating with clinical

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification or equivalent training as required by state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid training required.
• Experience in elder care, dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to residents per care plan.
• Assist with medications as allowed by state regulation and document entries.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and monitor health status.
• Record incidents and daily care in the computer system and report to RN.
• Support residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, dining).
• Maintain clean, organized living spaces and assist with meals and transportation as needed.
