Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Clinical Associate for Winchester Hospital to support patient care in a high-activity hospital setting. Under nursing supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and help transport supplies and patients across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS, and clinical experience with the Winchester Hospital CATP program completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Must be CNA or Nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation; three months of clinical care experience; completion of Winchester Hospital CATP.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Repositioning and ambulating patients; bed management.
• Transport patients, beds, supplies, and equipment.
• Collect, label, and transport specimens; handle blood products.
• Perform point-of-care testing; obtain vital signs and weights.
• Maintain accurate intake and output measurements; Foley catheter removal as needed.
