Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• EMT certification or 1 year in a medical office.
• AHA BLS/ACLS upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year full-time experience in pre-hospital or hospital setting.
• Ability to evaluate multiple data elements and interpret data in real time.
• Excellent verbal communication, including telephone interactions and explaining decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling appointments using triage protocols.
• Assist Front Desk and clinical teams with rooming and intake of patients.
• Inspect, stock, clean and prepare exam rooms; log activities daily.
• Monitor patient arrival and wait times; prioritize urgent needs.
• Assist NPs and RNs with examination and procedures as trained.
• Record procedures in EMR and ensure charts are countersigned.
• Collaborate with SHS team on accreditation efforts and tasks.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as required.
