Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Medical field education at a technical college or equivalent preferred.
WA Medical Assistant – Registered (MA-R) licensure preferred or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
Current CPR certification preferred or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
One year clinical and/or medical office experience required or equivalent education/experience.
Responsibilities
Prepares patient for examination by gathering patient vitals.
Updates and documents patient's medications and health history.
Provides instruction and direction to patients on medical questions.
Manages routine clinic inbox requests.
Supports administrative functions of the medical office.
