Optum, a leading health services company, is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant in Washington. The role supports providers with back-office tasks, including injections, testing, phlebotomy, and surveys, while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, WA DOH MA certification (or eligibility within 30 days), current CPR/BLS, and reliable transportation. Per diem hours range 0–20 weekly with shifts Mon–Fri 6:45 AM–7:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant in WA or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Current CPR or BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Back office support to assist providers in conducting quality clinics.
• Administer injections, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy and quality surveys.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain quality standards.
