Job summary

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton is seeking a Direct Care professional to assist with client services under supervision at the Burlington County Safe House. The role emphasizes case management, information/referral services, and support for families and individuals in need.

The position requires a High School diploma and at least 1 year of related experience; a valid driver’s license may be needed. This full-time/part-time per-diem role offers ongoing benefits and staff development

Qualifications

• High School diploma; 1 year of related experience (work or volunteer).
• Basic knowledge of case management and community resources is desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing client services and support under supervision.
• Provide information and referrals to clients by phone or in person.
• Maintain client files, data entry, and tracking activities.
• Help clients identify benefits and access community services.
• Coordinate transportation needs and daily living support.
• Provide emotional support and assist with crisis interventions.
• Support organization and execution of client activities.
• Coordinate with medical and other personnel on client needs.
