Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital invites a Per Diem CT Technologist to join Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI), located at 722 West 168th St, New York, NY 10032. You will perform CT exams in an outpatient setting using Siemens equipment, contributing to accurate diagnoses and patient care.

The ideal candidate has NYS Radiology licensure, ARRT credentials (Radiography and CT), and BLS, with at least one year of CT experience.

Qualifications

• New York State Radiology license in Radiography and certified to inject contrast media.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT examinations using state-of-the-art Siemens imaging equipment in a collaborative outpatient environment.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Contribute to patient-centered care and an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced imaging setting.
• Maintain required continuing education and renewal requirements for NYS and ARRT credentials.

Schedule

This is a per diem position - shifts will vary.

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
• New York State Radiology license in Radiography and certified by New York State to inject contrast media
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
• Must maintain all required continuing education and renewal requirements for New York State and ARRT/NMTCB credentials.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum one year of experience in CT

Preferred Criteria

• Proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software
• Previous relevant experience in research
• Prior experience with Siemens equipment
