Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a full-time CT Technologist for day shift in New York, NY. You will perform high-quality CT examinations, manage RIS/PACS workflows, and support coverage for CT, X-ray, and portable imaging across ED and ICU.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and Radiologic Technology program graduate.
• Current NYS Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) and CT or NMTCB CT, or eligibility within six months.
• Current BLS certification from AHA.
• One year of Diagnostic Imaging experience and recent CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations using RIS, PACS, and modality-specific software.
• Cover CT, X-ray, and portables across ED and ICU during the day shift.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to ensure patient safety and accurate diagnostics.

Certified CT Technologist - Full-Time - Days - Allen

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality CT examinations while utilizing advanced imaging technology, Radiology Information Systems (RIS), PACS, and digital data management tools. Working under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental leadership, you will play an essential role in delivering accurate, timely diagnostic imaging that supports exceptional patient care. This position is critical to appropriately cover CT, X-rays and portables in all units, including the ED and ICU during the day shift. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety while collaborating with a world-class clinical staff. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your expertise, work with advanced technology, and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of complex medical conditions in a leading academic healthcare environment.

Location: 5141 Broadway (at 220th Street), New York, NY 10034

Union Role: Requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund.

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $10,000

• Commensurate with experience
• Available to eligible new graduates

Schedule

• Full-time, days: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
• Includes alternating weekends and holidays

Preferred Criteria

• At least one year of Diagnostic Imaging experience
• Recent CT experience

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• New York State Certification for Intravascular Contrast Media Injection, or ability to obtain certification within six months of hire
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R)
• Current ARRT certification and registration in Computed Tomography (CT) or NMTCB (CT), or eligibility to obtain certification and registration within six months of hire
• Ability to maintain all New York State and ARRT continuing education and credential renewal requirements
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software systems
