Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or medical social work.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Services is accepted.
• Certification as Case Manager within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Monitor utilization review activities and assess admission/continued stay for medical necessity.
• Obtain precertifications and handle payor denials with appeals.
• Document psychosocial, financial, cultural, domestic violence and protective services needs; record in Medical Record.
