Job summary

Responsibilities include performing echocardiographic studies, documenting measurements, handling clerical tasks, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Registered with ARDMS or CCI; or enrolled and to obtain within 12 months.
• Previous Echocardiography experience preferred.
• Current BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies on patients.
• Complete worksheets with measurements and descriptive information.
• Handle scheduling, phones, filing and report circulation.
• Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment.
• Understand ultrasound principles and cardiac anatomy for diagnostic imaging.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff and patients.
