Job summary

Applied ABC seeks a Per Diem BCBA to manage behavioral program development across varied client settings. The role requires overseeing assessments, treatment planning, and staff supervision with a focus on data-driven outcomes and timely documentation.

Candidates must hold a BCBA certification and a Master’s in ABA or related field. A strong commitment to HIPAA compliance and cross-team coordination is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
• Active BCBA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain 1+ case(s) and meet approved hours.
• Reach out to families of new cases within 3 business days.
• Interview staff and family members for background before treatment plan.
• Handle case requirements: calls, reviews, editing plans, templates, forms, signatures.
• Conduct initial assessments and 3- or 6-month re-assessments; ensure plans address function.
• Define target behaviors in measurable terms; update treatment plan accordingly.
• Implement setting events, antecedent, teaching, and consequence strategies to reduce problem behavior.
• Directly see patients in relevant settings; analyze data and write progress notes.
• Train staff and families on implementation; ensure questions are answered.
• Supervise BCaBA and RBTs when applicable; ensure BACB oversight and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain communication with guardians, schools, and care teams; coordinate care.
• Review behavior data for discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
• If progress stalls for 90 days, analyze barriers and adjust plan.
