Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) seeks a Per Diem Audiologist to join NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. The role administers diagnostic and specialized tests, counsels patients, and collaborates with medical staff to guide management.

The successful candidate will hold a NYS Audiology license and have related balance-disorder experience. Master’s in Audiology is required; a Doctorate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Audiology is required; Doctorate preferred.
• Current NYS Audiology licensure is required.
• Minimum one year of experience diagnosing balance disorders.
• Basic Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer a wide variety of audiological tests to determine hearing level and site of lesion.
• Administer ABR and VNG/rotary chair examinations with detailed questionnaires and test batteries.
• Counsel patients and families regarding results and recommendations.
• Collaborate with medical staff on audiological and vestibular management.
• Prepare and distribute diagnostic reports securely and appropriately.
• Provide didactic and practical in-service training to staff and residents.
