Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking athletic trainers to join a per diem pool across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Positions offer flexible hours with per diem pay of $45 per hour plus additional differentiials for evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities include injury care, rehab planning, game coverage, and emergency care in a clinical setting or on-site athletic events. Ideal candidates hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field; state Athletic Trainer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field is required.
• Master's degree in related field is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field is required (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Care for athletic injuries and design/adjust rehab plans for student-athletes.
• Provide athletic training coverage for home/hosted contests as required.
• Administer emergency care and first aid during events.
• Create and update injury reports and ensure equipment fit and safety.
• Maintain clinic supplies and ensure proper documentation and cleanliness.

We have flexible hours and locations across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. These roles are paid a flat rate and are also eligible for evening and weekend differentials.Our Athletic Trainers provide services to student athletes under the direction of the program or department head or designee in accordance with state athletic training practices.Pay Rate: Per Diem Flat Rate is $45/hr + DifferentialsLocations: We have availability across MA and NHEssential Functions-Cares for athletic injuries.-Design and implement injury rehabilitation programs-Formulates assessments and executes plans of action that best aid/fit student–athletes’ health needs and determines student athletes safe return to sport participation.-Provide athletic training coverage for all home/hosted contests as described by the CCCAA bylaws.-Administer Emergency Care and First Aid-Creates and regularly updates an injury report.-Ensures proper equipment use and fitting such as helmets, shoulder pads, braces, mouthpieces. The use of tape or wraps.-Maintain documents, supplies and the working environment to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the clinic
