Rosary Academy is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to help our full time Athletic Trainer with game coverage as needed. Rosary is unique in that we do not have many sites on campus and therefore need multiple ATCs to provide adequate medical coverage to our athletic population. This role will mainly be off site with hours and location determined by the full time ATC and Athletic Directors.
The Athletic Trainer specializes in prevention, recognition and treatment of injuries and works with athletes at contracted schools, clubs, organizations and events. Must observe and comply with such rules, regulations and polices as may be determined by the NATA.
Moderate physical effort when working in patient care environment consisting of standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and stooping. Moderate sitting and keyboarding along with fine and gross motor skills and manual dexterity to operate keyboard and other equipment. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move at least 40 to 50 lbs. Must be able to respond quickly and effectively to an emergency.
This is a part-time position with hours determined by need and availability.
Salary range: $40-$50/h based on experience. Employment is contingent on fingerprinting and background check clearances.
