The Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital in the Myrtle Beach area is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for the Admissions Department. You will perform assessments, contraband searches, and hand-offs to the Nursing department to ensure smooth patient transfers.

Ideal candidates hold a South Carolina nursing license with CPR/BLS certification; 1–3 years of psychiatric inpatient experience is preferred, CPI certification is a plus. Join a nationwide network within UHS for growth.

Qualifikationen

• Current license to practice nursing in State of South Carolina (or eligible to receive or renew-Compact)
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Preferred 1-3 years of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting
• CPI Certification preferred

Aufgaben

• Perform assessments and contraband searches before patient transfer to designated unit
• Communicate Nursing hand off information to the Nursing department
• Assist during downtime with referrals to in-house physicians to assess qualification for admission
• Provide as a resource to handle overflow intake referrals to minimize loss of referrals
• Monitor Intake flow via Dashboard
