Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital in South Carolina is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join the Admissions Department. The role includes conducting assessments and contraband searches before transfer to units, and communicating hand-off information to the Nursing staff.

You will assist during slower periods by arranging referrals to in-house physicians for admission qualification and serve as a resource to handle overflow intake referrals, ensuring referrals are not lost.

Qualifications

• SC nursing license current and in good standing.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• 1–3 years of psychiatric inpatient experience preferred.
• CPI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and contraband searches before patient transfer.
• Communicate nursing hand-off information to the nursing department.
• Assist during downtime with referrals to in-house physicians for admission eligibility.
• Handle overflow intake referrals to minimize lost referrals.
• Monitor intake flow via dashboard.

The Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for our Admissions Department to join our team:

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, as well as adults who suffer from a chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or are in need of rehabilitation. Lighthouse offers 24-hour admissions, needs assessment, and referral services.

Primary Responsibilities are to perform assesments and contraband searches before patient is transfered to their designated unit. communiocate Nursing hand off information to the Nursing department. Assists suring down time with making referrals to in house physicians to assess qualification for admission. And will provide as a resource to handle overflow intake referrals to ensure loss of referals is minimilized. Monitor Intake flow via Dahsboard

Qualifications

The following are job requirements for the position of Admission Registered Nurse Position:

• Current license to practice nursing in State of South Carolina (or eligible to receive or renew-Compact)
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Preferred 1-3 year of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting
• CPI Certification preferred
