Job summary

Fusion Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an Activities Assistant (Per Diem) to support resident engagement through group activities and individual interactions, on an as-needed basis. The role emphasizes a friendly, family-like environment and a focus on improving well-being.

The position requires a Diploma or GED, with creativity and self-motivation. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected, and prior experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia a plus.
• Creativity and ability to self-motivate.
• Flexible schedule including occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group activities
• Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance
• Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized
• Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities
• Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties
