Job summary

Huntington-Woods-Care- is seeking an Activities Assistant to support daily resident activities in a senior care environment. You will help plan, lead, and encourage participation in a range of recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities, including one-on-one engagements where needed.

The role involves assisting with events, building relationships with residents, and documenting participation outcomes while coordinating with the Activity Director and care team.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, patient, creative and compassionate.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Experience with seniors or individuals with dementia is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
