Job summary

Mercy Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist/Registration specialist to join a team focused on accurate specimen collection and patient registration. In this role you will handle high-volume duties across the hospital and off-site clinics, with about half of your time on computer systems, and provide clerical support to the Pathology Department while upholding our service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; valid Michigan driver's license.
• Six months Phlebotomy experience required, including school.
• ASCP certification for Phlebotomy preferred; must obtain within one year of hire.
• Must be able to type 40 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomist/Registration: collects specimens, registers patients and processes services in hospital and off-site locations.
• Performs high-volume duties with 50% computer utilization and targets to meet.
• Provides clerical support to the Pathology Department and other duties as assigned.
