Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English at 8th grade level or higher
• Positive, energetic attitude towards residents
• Must be physically active (standing, walking, bending)
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Able to assist residents with sitting, standing and walking, including post-fall assistance
• Must be criminally cleared

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and ensure they feel welcome in the dining area
• Assist with meal service preparation and setup
• Bus tables, clear dishes, and maintain a tidy dining environment
• Communicate with supervisors about residents’ dietary needs and changes in appetite
