Job summary

A staffing and IT solutions firm is looking for a highly motivated PeopleSoft Technical Consultant for a long-term contract located in Charlotte, NC. Qualifications

• Capability to upgrade to new versions of PeopleSoft HRMS and provide programming support.

Job Description

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced PeopleSoft Technical Consultant for a long‑term contract at the City of Charlotte. The assignment will last at least eight weeks and may be extended to 12 months, focusing on Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting.

• Install, upgrade, and maintain PeopleSoft Human Resources modules (version 8.9 or later) in an Oracle/Linux or Oracle/Windows environment.
• Write software using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQL/SQR, XML Publisher, Integration Broker, Change Assistant, and Data Mover.
• Upgrade to new versions of PeopleSoft HRMS, apply patches and fixes, and provide programming support throughout all phases of the software lifecycle.
• Develop, test, maintain, and document code.

Assignment Requirements

• Proficient with inbound and outbound interfaces specific to Benefits using SQR/ Application Engine.
