Job summary

A staffing and IT solutions firm is looking for a highly motivated PeopleSoft Technical Consultant for a long-term contract located in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on upgrading and maintaining PeopleSoft Human Resources modules and developing critical software. Candidates should have hands-on technical experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.1, proficiency in various PeopleSoft tools, and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of ACA is a plus, and the assignment lasts at least eight weeks with a potential extension up to 12 months.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing, upgrading, and maintaining PeopleSoft Human Resources modules in Oracle/Linux or Oracle/Windows environments.
• Ability to write software using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and other specified tools.
• Capability to upgrade to new versions of PeopleSoft HRMS and provide programming support.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and maintain PeopleSoft HR modules.
• Write software for various PeopleSoft functionalities.
• Develop, test, and document code for software lifecycle.

Skills

Hands-on technical experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.1

Proficient with inbound and outbound interfaces specific to Benefits using SQR/Application Engine

Good understanding of PeopleSoft tables in HR, Base Benefits, Payroll, and Time & Labor

Ability to work independently
