Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned PeopleSoft Integration Consultant to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations across internal systems, cloud apps, and third-party platforms. This role focuses on the integration layer—service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security, and error handling—requiring hands-on Integration Broker experience and PeopleTools knowledge.

• Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with web service security standards (WS-Security, OAuth2).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.

Responsabilidades

• Configure security on inbound and outbound services, including WS-Security and OAuth2.
• Build robust error-handling and retry mechanisms, including notifications and monitoring.
• Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts to support hybrid integration scenarios.
• Lead migration efforts to retire legacy point-to-point integrations to standardized Integration Broker patterns.
• Optimize performance of high-volume integrations through queue tuning and parallel processing.
• Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud applications (Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow) and middleware (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation and runbooks for operations and onboarding.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Integration Broker Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft applications to internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms. This role focuses specifically on the integration layer, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-on Integration Broker experience with broader PeopleTools knowledge and a strong understanding of API and integration design patterns. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration scenarios using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
• Develop transformations using XSLT, Application Engine, and PeopleCode handlers, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standards.
• Configure security on inbound and outbound services, including WS-Security, OAuth2, and certificate-based authentication.
• Build robust error-handling and retry mechanisms, including notifications, monitoring, and resubmission workflows.
• Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts to support hybrid integration scenarios.
• Lead migration efforts to retire legacy point-to-point integrations to standardized Integration Broker patterns, planning phased cutovers, building backward-compatibility shims where needed, and ensuring each migration step is reversible and well-monitored.
• Optimize performance of high-volume integrations through queue tuning, parallel processing, and asynchronous design.
• Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud applications (Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow) and middleware (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation — including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures — so that the system remains supportable, auditable, and easy to onboard new engineers onto over time.
• Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, including incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and integration architects, gathering requirements, aligning on technical approach, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet both functional needs and broader engineering and operational standards.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code review, design review, pair programming, and structured knowledge sharing, helping the broader team grow in technical maturity and confidence over time.
