Bright Vision Technologies, a technology consulting and software development company, seeks a PeopleSoft API Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations. You will work on the integration layer connecting PeopleSoft to internal systems, cloud apps, and third-party platforms.

The role emphasizes hands-on Integration Broker experience, API design patterns, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver well-engineered, production-ready integrations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of PeopleSoft development experience with Integration Broker.
• Experience designing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of the PeopleSoft data model.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft to internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms.
• Focus on the integration layer, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into engineered solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code/design reviews to raise quality and consistency.

Job Title: PeopleSoft API Developer

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)

Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2

Salary Range: $120,000-$135,000 Annually

Experience Required: 6+ years

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft API Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft applications to internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms. This role focuses specifically on the integration layer, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-on Integration Broker experience with broader PeopleTools knowledge and a strong understanding of API and integration design patterns. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with web service security standards (WS-Security, OAuth2).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi) is a strong plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.

Preferred Qualifications

• PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Exposure to event-driven integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling for PeopleSoft.
• Strong understanding of API management concepts.
