Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned PeopleSoft Integration Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations linking PeopleSoft with internal systems, cloud apps, and third‑party platforms. This role focuses on the integration layer, service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security, and error handling.

The ideal candidate has deep hands‑on Integration Broker experience, strong PeopleTools knowledge, and solid API/integration design patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft development with a focus on Integration Broker.
• Hands-on REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with web service security standards (WS‑Security, OAuth2).
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of the PeopleSoft data model.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration scenarios using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
• Develop transformations using XSLT, Application Engine, and PeopleCode handlers with durable, well‑documented solutions.
• Configure security on inbound and outbound services (WS‑Security, OAuth2).
• Build error-handling and retry mechanisms with monitoring and resubmission workflows.
• Lead migrations to standardize Integration Broker patterns and ensure reversibility.
• Optimize performance of high‑volume integrations via queue tuning and asynchronous design.
• Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud apps (Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow) and middleware (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Maintain comprehensive documentation (architecture diagrams, runbooks, run references).
• Provide hypercare support and post‑go‑live incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Integration Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft applications to internal systems, cloud applications, and third‑party platforms. This role focuses specifically on the integration layer, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands‑on Integration Broker experience with broader PeopleTools knowledge and a strong understanding of API and integration design patterns. In this role you will work closely with cross‑functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well‑engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration scenarios using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
• Develop transformations using XSLT, Application Engine, and PeopleCode handlers, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well‑documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standards.
• Configure security on inbound and outbound services, including WS‑Security, OAuth2, and certificate‑based authentication.
• Build robust error‑handling and retry mechanisms, including notifications, monitoring, and resubmission workflows.
• Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts to support hybrid integration scenarios.
• Lead migration efforts to retire legacy point‑to‑point integrations to standardized Integration Broker patterns, planning phased cutovers, building backward‑compatibility shims where needed, and ensuring each migration step is reversible and well‑monitored.
• Optimize performance of high‑volume integrations through queue tuning, parallel processing, and asynchronous design.
• Integrate PeopleSoft with cloud applications (Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow) and middleware (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation — including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures — so that the system remains supportable, auditable, and easy to onboard new engineers onto over time.
• Provide hypercare and post‑go‑live support, including incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and integration architects, gathering requirements, aligning on technical approach, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet both functional needs and broader engineering and operational standards.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid‑level engineers through code review, design review, pair programming, and structured knowledge sharing, helping the broader team grow in technical maturity and confidence over time.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
• Hands‑on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with web service security standards (WS‑Security, OAuth2).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi) is a strong plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.
