Job summary

Stratacent is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer to lead technology assessment, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management in a dynamic IT services environment.

This role focuses on configuring and customizing PeopleSoft with PeopleTools, building interfaces, and creating robust test plans while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Business Administration or related field.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft applications.
• Proficiency in PeopleTools including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR and BI Publisher.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• In-depth understanding of PeopleSoft modules and business processes.
• Experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools such as PS Query and nVision.
• Knowledge of Integration Broker for system integrations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to understand and document requirements.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis to align business needs with PeopleSoft capabilities.
• Develop functional specifications and user stories for system enhancements.
• Configure PeopleSoft modules to meet business requirements.
• Customize PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, BI Publisher).
• Develop and maintain interfaces between PeopleSoft and external systems.
• Prepare test plans and scripts for unit, integration, and UAT testing.
• Coordinate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Resolve issues identified during testing and post-production support.
• Provide training to end-users on new functionalities and system enhancements.
• Offer ongoing support to users addressing queries and issues promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of user manuals and documentation.
• Assist in project planning including timelines and resource allocation.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with change management procedures and best practices.
