Job Description:
The Government of the District of Columbia, Office of the Chief Technology Officer, is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM Application Administrator/Enterprise Architect to manage the District's PeopleSoft system.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop solutions for Oracle Enterprise Manager 12, including installation of monitoring modules for enterprise applications like PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, providing guidance to technical developers.
- Manage database administration, including data dictionaries, performance models, and supporting PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 for maximum availability.
- Develop and enforce standards for design, development, installation, and documentation of PeopleSoft applications.
- Require 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM v9 modules; PeopleSoft Administration for HCM 9.2 is preferred.
- Strong background in Oracle 12C and 19C, RAC, OEM, performance tuning, and RMAN backup and recovery.
- Ensure project adherence to District standards, troubleshoot operational issues, and support application upgrades.
- Knowledge of government systems is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, troubleshooting, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Support multi-instance PeopleSoft hosting environment, troubleshoot PIA, Oracle databases, application servers, process schedulers, WebLogic, and optimize SQL statements.
Contract Position Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.
- Plan and monitor project activities.
- Develop and support technical applications, standards, and procedures.
- Provide training, perform upgrades, and monitor real-time systems and communications.
Minimum Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
