ActioNet has an upcomning opportunity for a Senior Web Systems Architect able to obtaina Public Trust clearance. This position is 95% telework reporting at the following locations:

The Senior Web Systems Architect is responsible for the end-to-end planning, design, and implementation of secure, scalable, and reliable web server environments supporting mission-critical agency applications. This role serves as the technical authority for both legacy and modern hosting environments, ensuring optimal integration between web platforms, middleware components, and enterprise cloud services. The architect works across functional teams to develop resilient infrastructure, implement DevSecOps standards, and support evolving hosting requirements, including modernization initiatives and migration to hybrid or cloud environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable web server architecture (e.g., Apache, IIS, Tomcat).
• Lead initiatives to modernize legacy hosting platforms with containerization and cloud adoption.
• Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity policies and accessibility requirements (e.g., Section 508).
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and development teams to optimize integration.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and drive continuous improvement in uptime and reliability.

Basic Qualifications (required):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise web hosting architecture and administration.
• In-depth expertise with Linux and Windows-based web platforms.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications in AWS or Azure Architecture.
• Experience with federal enterprise architecture standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA, TIC 3.0)
