Job summary

Spruce Infotech is seeking an experienced Peoplesoft Administrator in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience and specific knowledge in People Tools version 8.54, production support, and application server maintenance.

You will work closely with development, DBA, and networking teams, and must possess strong communication skills. The role requires flexibility to work extended hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a PS Admin.
• Strong knowledge of installation, configuration, and maintenance of application servers.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Support PeopleSoft system and applications.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including DEV, DBA, and SA.
• Work during extended hours and weekends as necessary.

Job Description

• 10+ years hands on experience as a PS Admin
• People Tools version 8.54 experience is must.
• Min of 4-5 years of Production support experience is a must.
• Experience and strong knowledge in Installation, configuration, and maintenance of application servers, process schedulers, web servers, report servers, and file servers.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the PeopleSoft Security, Integration Broker, LDAP etc.,
• Experience and strong knowledge in Unix/Linux, Oracle 11g
• Should be able to work closely with all the other stake holders DEV, DBA, SA, networking etc.,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self‑motivated and competent to work independently.
• Ready to work in Extended hours, Weekends
• onshore/offshore coordination skills
