Your Role:

The People Team Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of key People Team projects, implementations and initiatives across Human Resources, Talent Attraction, Learning & Development, employee experience, systems/process improvement, and organizational programs. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong project management foundation, enjoys working cross-functionally, and can help bring structure, momentum, and accountability to People Team priorities.

This role will partner closely with Chief People Officer and key stakeholders across the business to organize workstreams, manage timelines, track deliverables, identify risks, and ensure projects move forward effectively. The ideal candidate has experience supporting HR or people-related initiatives, though they do not need to be a senior-level HR professional. Success in this role requires strong organization, clear communication, follow-through, stakeholder management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • People Team Project Management
  • Manage and support cross-functional People Team projects from planning through implementation, ensuring clear scope, timelines, milestones, owners, and deliverables.
  • Function as the right-hand-person to the Chief People Officer, supporting where needed to run the People function, plan meetings and offsites.
  • Build strong narratives and slides for Board presentations, as it relates to the People Function.
  • Partner with HR, Talent Attraction, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and business stakeholders to coordinate project activities and keep initiatives on track.
  • Build and maintain project plans, trackers, status updates, meeting agendas, action logs, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or roadblocks, and upscale issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
  • Help translate broad People Team priorities into actionable workplans with clear next steps and accountability.
  • Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Create, refine, and maintain clear project documentation, process maps, SOPs, FAQs, communication drafts, training materials, and implementation resources as needed.
  • Support efforts to improve consistency, efficiency, and scalability across People Team processes.
  • Help identify opportunities to streamline manual processes through better tracking, documentation, technology, or workflow improvements.
  • Ensure project materials are organized, accurate, and easy for stakeholders to understand and use.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3–6 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years of project management, program coordination, HR operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, or related experience.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear updates, documentation, and stakeholder-facing materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on action items, timelines, and commitments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint; experience with project tracking tools, Microsoft Lists, Planner, Smartsheet, or similar tools preferred.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Power Point – with experience creating slides for c-suite and board being a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive employee and business information with discretion.
  • Prior experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, employee experience, or people operations strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Project Management Professional certification, SHRM certification, or other HR/project management coursework is a plus, but not required.
