    • Track open positions and hiring progress using internal trackers and systems.
    • Screen candidates to identify qualified applicants; learn to assess fit and qualifications with coaching from the Talent Manager.
    • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
    • Send offer letters and communicate offer details to candidates.
    • Order and manage drug screens, background checks, and MVR checks until completion.
    • Coordinate ordering of credit cards, fuel cards, and technology for new hires.
    • Maintain talent acquisition tracker, open positions tracker, and referral tracker.
  • Onboarding & New Hire Processing
    • Launch onboarding packets in Paylocity and work with new hires to complete required documents.
    • Ensure onboarding packets are completed fully and correctly on Day 1.
    • Conduct new hire orientation for all Nashville hires.
    • Coordinate first-day logistics, reporting instructions, and manager communication.
    • Run E-Verify, download and send MVRs to the insurance company, and process new hires in Paylocity.
    • Make manual profile updates as needed and save compliance documents to SharePoint.
    • Communicate with new hires throughout the pre-hire and onboarding process to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Nashville HR Support & Employee Relations
    • Serve as the main HR contact for Nashville-based employees.
    • Handle employee questions, concerns, and escalations (benefits-related questions are routed to the People Operations Coordinator).
    • Translate documents and communications for the Spanish-speaking workforce.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in HRIS.
    • Visit field sites as needed to maintain People & Talent team visibility and build relationships with crews and managers.

  • Training Coordination Support
    • Assist the Training Manager with coordinating training materials, logistics, and scheduling.
    • Support training needs as they arise across Nashville operations.
  • Tracking & Administration
    • Update employee records in Paylocity (rate changes, position changes) as needed.
    • Support the People & Talent team's projects and initiatives.
    • Maintain accuracy and organization of HR files and systems.
