Job summary

Strider Hotel in Boston seeks a People Support Manager to lead HR functions, drive recruitment and training, and uphold a positive workplace culture in collaboration with HHM’s centralized teams.

You will manage onboarding, employee relations, and benefits, while ensuring compliance and brand standards across the hotel’s workforce in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
• At least three years of human resources experience, preferably in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hotel managers to hire, train, coach, and support associates in alignment with brand standards.
• Manage recruitment for staffing needs, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
• Coordinate associate onboarding and termination processes in accordance with laws and company standards.
• Address associate concerns fairly, support managers in resolving workplace issues, and promote a positive work culture.
• Coordinate and implement training programs that support development and meet brand requirements.
• Support recognition programs that celebrate associate contributions.
• Maintain accurate associate records in the HRIS and support timely payroll processing.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices.
• Practice safe work habits and follow applicable workplace safety standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
