Job Description

As a People Services Coordinator, you will support the business and our employees by completing quality 1st line transactional HR activities in a timely and consistent manner.

Reporting to the People Services Team Leader, you will be part of the People Team, providing a professional, high-quality HR service to employees and managers across the employee lifecycle, offering advice and guidance via phone or the HR case management system.

What you will do

  1. Onboard new staff and create contracts for new starters.
  2. Triage and effectively handle 1st line queries via phone or case management system.
  3. Manage cases with an end-to-end approach.
  4. Understand customer needs in line with the Quality Framework and continuously seek to improve customer service by resolving queries at first contact where possible.
  5. Use workflows and process maps to complete all requests.
  6. Prioritize work to meet Service Level Agreements.
  7. Contribute to HR strategy by identifying performance improvements and reviewing business processes as needed.
  8. Handle pay-related queries and process pay changes to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
  9. Work closely with Payroll, Compliance, and Pensions teams.
Qualifications
  • Good understanding of employment legislation, its application, and best practices.
  • Broad understanding of the HR employee lifecycle.
  • Strong communication and written skills.
  • Administrative experience.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in HR operations or HR Shared Services roles.
  • Experience with workflow and case management systems.
  • Experience handling complex queries and cases, providing resolutions and advice within SLAs.
