Job summary

Google's People Operations team seeks a seasoned People Partner to support executive leaders in the Data Cloud Storage group. You will craft data-driven people strategies, align programs with business goals, and collaborate cross-functionally on talent acquisition, development, motivation, and structure.

You will advise on compensation, performance management, and organizational development while embedding Google’s culture and values in all people decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of HR experience supporting leaders at global companies.
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and organizational design.
  • Experience with organization transformations across multiple regions and integrating tenured teams with new capabilities and talent.
  • Experience with organizational design, succession planning, performance management, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, culture keeper, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with Google's leaders to create a comprehensive people plan to influence lasting change over large functions at Google.
  • Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, design and implement cross-disciplinary solutions.
  • Provide expertise in: talent and performance management, change management, leadership coaching, data analysis and insights, employee relations and strategic development.

Job description

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working as a management consultant, working with external clients.
  • Ability to work within constraints as well as to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity and to be a part of deeply complex strategy discussions.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships with executive leaders and a complex set of stakeholders to drive organizational change.
