Job summary

Google is seeking a Share People Partner for Core AI Foundations in San Jose, CA. You will act as a trusted HR partner, partnering with VP-level leaders, guiding people plans, and driving data-based decisions to strengthen organizational effectiveness.

You will influence stakeholders, design organizational structures, and lead initiatives that promote a high-performing culture across multiple teams within Core AI Foundations and Google-wide programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience as an HR business partner or HR generalist supporting VP-level leaders.
• Experience in organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and organizational design.

Responsibilities

• Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
• Lead efforts to improve organizational health by monitoring trends and metrics related to new, undefined, or multi-dimensional problems, maintaining a pulse on the culture, speaking truth to leadership, and sponsoring a workforce and environment where all Googlers are treated with respect and have equal opportunity to succeed.
• Build strong relationships with leaders and provide sound HR guidance on future or undefined problems, balancing client, business, and company needs against risks, with a focus on People consequences and reactions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the client organization, advising several Vice Presidents (VPs) across many countries and job families in the development of People Plans.
• Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions.
