Job summary

Blankstreet is seeking a People Operations Partner to enhance a people-first culture during growth. This individual will partner closely with management to elevate performance, support employee experience, and navigate employee relations.

The ideal candidate must have 4+ years of HR experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Responsibilities include coaching leaders, leading employee relations, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure smooth operations.

This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, with travel required across markets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR or People Ops experience in fast-paced retail or hospitality.
• Working knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion.
• Must be based in NYC with travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies and workforce planning.
• Coach GMs and managers on performance management and accountability.
• Lead employee relations matters and resolve investigations.
• Use people data to recommend solutions and support decision-making.
