Job summary

Magic Concepts is expanding its People Operations & HRIS function, seeking a Manager to own the HRIS end-to-end—from core HR to benefits, leading system projects, and partnering with HR and Operations leaders to keep employee data accurate across a distributed workforce.

The role requires 5+ years in HR/HR Operations with hands-on HRIS experience, strong data analytics, and the ability to drive improvements across multiple platforms and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of HR/HR Operations experience, including 3+ years HRIS/HCM system experience.
• Multi-unit, multi-location operations experience preferred in hourly-workforce environments.
• Strong project management experience with system implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
• Knowledge of core HCM functions: compensation, benefits, talent management.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills; advanced Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional system administrator for the HRIS/HCM platform.
• Lead full life-cycle HRIS projects from evaluation to go-live and support.
• Perform regular gap analyses and drive improvements across HR systems.
• Manage platform releases and feature updates; ensure proper configuration.
• Conduct data audits to maintain accuracy and compliance across systems.
• Build and maintain dashboards on headcount, turnover, labor cost, etc.
• Support open enrollment, performance management, and compensation planning via configuration.
