About the Role

Ontra is seeking a People Operations Specialist on our People team.

We’re looking for someone excited to empower our workforce by enhancing and maintaining our dynamic systems, programs, and processes, acting as Tier 1 People support, and contributing to wide-scale projects and programs across the People function and the broader company.

What You’ll Do

  1. Project Contribution: Actively participate in large-scale HR projects, providing support and insights to drive successful outcomes.
  2. Process Management: Support the development and enhancement of People-related processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Program Assistance: Aid in the implementation and maintenance of HR programs, ensuring they align with company policies and objectives.
  4. System Maintenance: Ensure the People systems and tools are regularly updated and running smoothly to support the organization's HR functions.
  5. Tier 1 People Support: Serve as the initial point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions to People-related questions or issues.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement within the People ecosystem, suggesting and helping implement enhancements.

What You’ll Bring

  1. Experience: 3-5 years in relevant roles.
  2. System Proficiency: Strong experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Familiarity with Rippling is preferred.
  3. Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, Google Sheets, and similar tools.
  4. HR Exposure: Understanding of traditional HR functions, including benefits, payroll, and compliance, is preferred.

Pay Transparency

Ontra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below. Additionally, all positions are eligible for unit-based equity grants.

Some positions may have additional compensation options, such as commission or other variable pay, which are not included in the base pay range.

Base Pay Range

$75,000—$105,000 USD
