Qualifications

• Experience: 8–12+ years in People Operations or HR with at least 4+ years in people management.
• Scaling and growth: proven track record during hyper-growth.
• Autonomy: translate goals into actionable roadmaps and execute independently.

• Problem solving and discretion in sensitive investigations and employee relations.
• Executive partnership: advisory role with stakeholders across the org.

• Systems and documentation: hands-on with HR systems (Rippling, Lattice) and clear docs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP of People Operations to design scalable HR strategies and infrastructure.
• Ensure end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, benefits, payroll, support, offboarding.
• Foster inclusive culture grounded in integrity and psychological safety.
• Design and analyze pulse surveys to measure engagement and drive improvements.
• Maintain compliance with federal/state/local laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ITAR/EAR) and update policies.
• Lead Open Enrollment, vendor management, and total rewards strategy.
• Oversee payroll accuracy, HRIS, and time-tracking system compliance.
• Coach and empower the team; model effective management behavior.
• Serve as confidential point of contact for employees with complex inquiries.
• Handle sensitive employee relations with discretion and fairness.
