We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Manager to handle all aspects of day-to-day HR operations as a team of one. In this role, you will ensure a positive and productive work environment by managing HR processes, supporting employee needs, and collaborating closely with department leaders to align our people operations with our customer-centric mission and objectives.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of HR experience with a strong background in managing day-to-day HR operations, ideally in a fast-paced or growing company environment (experience in a start-up or rapidly scaling company is a plus).
  • Proven ability to manage and streamline HR processes such as talent acquisition, benefits administration, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Experience working closely with department leaders and managers to support operational needs, ensure smooth HR practices, and enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization, from department managers to individual contributors.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a track record of handling multiple tasks and priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach to HR challenges and employee needs.
  • Adaptability to changing business demands and the ability to maintain flexibility while ensuring HR processes remain smooth and consistent.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field

What You'll Do

  • Talent Acquisition: Support the recruiting process by ensuring timely and efficient hiring. Collaborate with department leaders and hiring managers to identify hiring needs, streamline interview processes, and help deliver a positive candidate experience throughout.
  • HR Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day HR operations, including benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and HR systems. Ensure smooth execution of HR processes that align with the business’s needs while creating a positive and supportive work environment for employees.
  • Employee Experience & Engagement: Assist in maintaining a strong company culture by regularly gauging employee sentiment. Help implement and support employee engagement programs, including rewards, recognition, and team-building activities. Ensure employees feel supported and valued across all aspects of their work experience.
  • Employee Effectiveness & Growth: Support employees in their development by helping to manage performance reviews, providing feedback, and ensuring employees have the resources to succeed and grow within their roles.
  • Compensation Administration: Assist with managing compensation processes, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, and ensuring the company’s compensation policies are in line with industry standards.
  • People Operations: Handle the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding new hires to offboarding departing employees. Manage payroll, benefits, and HR administrative tasks to ensure efficient and seamless processes that support both employees and business operations.
  • Compliance: Support adherence to federal, state, and local regulations by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements. Help develop and enforce policies to ensure compliance and safeguard the organization.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with department leaders and managers to provide HR support on a day-to-day basis, addressing employee issues and ensuring smooth HR operations that contribute to the success of each department.
