Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a team in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will focus on delivering excellent guest experiences, educating customers about healthy offerings, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere every day.

You will work closely with the General Manager on inventory, staffing, and procedures, while upholding food safety standards and coaching team members for peak performance. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience in hospitality/food service.
• 2+ years of managerial experience in hospitality/restaurant.
• HS diploma or GED; 2 years of college preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and problem solving.
• Food Handler certification and lifting up to 50 pounds required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide a team, serving customers with outstanding service.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on inventory, staffing, and operations.
• Plan staffing to handle expected volume and ensure smooth shifts.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards for customers and staff.
• Assist with hiring decisions, performance appraisals and coaching.
• Direct staff on the floor and monitor the expo to ensure timely delivery.
