Job summary

2nd Order Solutions (2OS) is seeking a People Operations Lead to oversee benefits administration, HRIS management, payroll, and performance management. This role targets a detail-oriented professional who can improve processes, ensure compliance, and support confidential employee data across a small business environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in HR, is certified (PHR/SHRM-CP), and can manage multi-state payroll and benefits programs while collaborating with leadership to drive

Qualifications

• 7+ years in HR, benefits administration, or HR generalist roles.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification required.
• Hands-on experience managing health and retirement benefits programs as well as multi-state payroll.
• Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements and best practices.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.

Responsibilities

• Own benefits administration and open enrollment processes.
• Lead payroll coordination across states.
• Manage HRIS configuration and reporting (Paylocity).
• Drive performance management cycles and role descriptions.
• Act as HR consultant for consultants and employees.
