Job description

About Trinity Property Consultants

At Trinity Property Consultants, your expertise fuels our mission. Guided by our values of innovation, teamwork, excellence, and empowerment, we've been a leader in the multifamily industry for over 25 years and proudly manage properties for a nationally ranked NMHC's Apartment Owner. We are building more than great places to live - we're creating vibrant communities and meaningful careers.

The Opportunity

As a People Operations Analyst, you'll join our People team as a versatile, data-driven contributor supporting Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Employee Experience. This role is built for someone who is sharp, curious, and eager to learn the ins and outs of People Operations from the ground up: someone who thrives on solving problems, digging into data, and making things run better.

You'll be the analytical backbone for our People function: pulling reports, spotting trends, and translating data into insights that inform real decisions about how we hire, pay, develop, and support our people. You'll also have a direct hand in improving the processes and systems that shape the employee experience every day.

Initially, this role will also provide day-to-day support to our ESG & Sustainability function, offering broad, cross-functional experience early in your career. You'll also be at the forefront of implementing and using AI across our People functions, helping us find smarter, faster ways to work and setting the standard for how AI tools are adopted across the team.

If you're excellent in Excel, love finding patterns in messy data, and want a front-row seat to how a People organization operates, we'd love to meet you.

Compensation: $73,000 to $80,000 annually, based on experience, with opportunities for bonuses.

Schedule: Monday through Friday. This is an in-office role.

What You'll Own

People Operations

  • Partner across Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Employee Experience to provide day-to-day analytical and operational support wherever it's needed.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards, including headcount, turnover, time-to-fill, payroll accuracy, training completion, and engagement metrics, to support strategic People decisions.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, flag risks, and surface actionable recommendations for People leadership.
  • Support the buildout of payroll tools and reporting to help ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with recruiting coordination and reporting, including pipeline metrics and hiring funnel analysis.
  • Help track and measure the impact of learning and development programs.
  • Contribute to employee experience initiatives, including surveys, onboarding, and recognition programs, and help analyze the results.
  • Serve as an early adopter and champion of AI tools across People functions by piloting new use cases, streamlining workflows, and helping the broader team learn to work smarter with AI.
  • Identify opportunities to improve or automate internal People processes and help implement those improvements.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and accurate data across HR systems.

ESG & Sustainability Support - Initial Focus Area

  • Manage Letters of Authorization (LOAs) to ensure timely access to utility data.
  • Maintain building energy, water, and waste data in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, and keep the asset characteristics spreadsheet current and accurate.
  • Update and distribute utility analyses for new acquisitions.
  • Help run the community engagement program, including writing internal and external content such as emails and flyers.
  • Track employee volunteer and giving data.
  • Support certification and recertification of buildings for green building recognition.
  • Help manage portfolio-wide EV outlet infrastructure initiatives and assist with solar data tracking and potential solar opportunities.

General

  • Take on ad hoc projects and analyses as priorities shift across People Operations and ESG.
What You Bring
  • Analytical Mindset: You enjoy breaking down problems, asking why, and backing up conclusions with data.
  • Accuracy & Ownership: High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over data quality and accuracy.
  • Organization: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects across different teams.
  • Initiative: A proactive, figure-it-out attitude, with comfort asking questions and diving in independently.
  • Communication & Discretion: Strong communication skills and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
  • Growth Orientation: A genuine interest in People Operations and HR as a career path, with enthusiasm for learning and building new capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 0-2 years of professional experience; internships, coursework, or relevant projects count.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and organizing and analyzing data sets; a fast learner if not yet an expert.
  • Technology: Familiarity with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, ATS tools, or ESG reporting tools such as ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager or GRESB is a bonus, but not required.
