Job summary

Dubow Decorating Inc is seeking an HR Generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations in Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in HR or related field and 1–2 years of generalist HR experience, with strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Associates degree in HR Management or related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in a generalist HR role (preferred).
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment efforts by attracting and interviewing top candidates.
• Lead onboarding processes, including new hire orientation and first-day experience.
• Assist with employee leave requests (FMLA, STD, LOA).
• Manage employee relations with thorough investigations and documentation.
• Use HRIS to add hires, update records, and maintain confidential data.
• Administer benefits including open enrollment and EAP/HSA where applicable.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and company communications.
• Enforce policies and ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
• Maintain personnel, medical, and finance-related records; assist with audits.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
