Job summary

MadTree is seeking an HR Generalist to support the People Strategy team. Based at the Oakley location in Cincinnati, you will handle HRIS, onboarding, benefits, leave, compliance, and culture initiatives across MadTree sites. Travel to locations is required and you will partner with a Senior HR Manager to drive HR programs with care.

The role emphasizes hands-on HR operations, attention to detail, and a people-first approach, with a compensation range that reflects market alignment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or 2+ years HR experience.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with HRIS platforms — Rippling a plus.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and HRIS applications.
• Quick learner comfortable navigating multiple systems and providing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR activities across the employee lifecycle including recruiting and onboarding.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, I-9 verification, and HRIS setup to ensure a smooth experience.
• Maintain accurate employee data and records in Rippling and other systems.
• Assist with benefits, leave, accommodations, and payroll-related processes.
• Support compliance, training, and HR projects across MadTree locations.
