Job summary

HopeLink Behavioral Health is seeking an HR Generalist to deliver day-to-day people operations across onboarding, benefits, compliance, leave and HR records within a hybrid Virginia-based role.

You will manage onboarding, orientation, benefits administration, open enrollment, payroll coordination, and HR reporting; partner with HRBP; ensure timely leave management and regulatory postings; support recruitment and performance processes while upholding high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR/Business or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and HRIS; able to learn new systems.
• Strong judgment, ethics and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employee HR questions with a customer service focus.
• Own onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure early success.
• Administer benefits, open enrollment, and employee recognition programs.
• Process separations, verifications, and pay issues with payroll and finance.
• Administer leaves of absence and accommodations; manage compliance deadlines.
• Maintain personnel files and HR system data integrity; produce HR reports.
• Support recruitment, performance appraisals, and workforce initiatives.
